Cakes On Carthew, owned by Ben & Linda Jaworski, is the culmination of an honoured family tradition of baking only the finest quality cakes, tortes & cheesecakes since 2000. At our bakery and retail outlet in the Townsville suburb of Kirwan, we are conveniently located to carry on the well established tradition of quality products expertly created using only the freshest ingredients. This limits the possibility of mistakes, misunderstandings and misplaced orders.

As we approach the end of the financial year all of our suppliers are 'horrifyingly' sending through their price increases. One company has a price increase of $10 (OR MORE) per item on almost all of their stock. We can only assume that they are building in the ongoing fuel prices and the upcoming increase in wages.
As a result, we will also need to review our prices. We will adjust as little as we can because we know that it's hard for everyone. Some will be more noticable than others though as we have held most of the standard cake prices the same for over two years.
We are grateful for all of your support and we are genuinely sorry to have to increase prices.
