WE ARE HIRING:
Cake Decorator & Customer Service All-Rounder!
Are you a talented decorator who loves connecting with people? Cakes on Carthew is looking for a multi-skilled professional to join our close-knit family business in Thuringowa Central!
This unique role splits your time between mock cream cake decorating and friendly front-of-house customer service.
THE ULTIMATE LIFESTYLE BONUS:
Permanent part-time (Mon–Fri, 8:00 am – 12:30 pm minimum + extra hours when required)
No weekends & no public holidays
Guaranteed annual shutdown break from Christmas Eve to late January!
PAY RATE:
• $27.81 / hour – negotiable according to experience
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
• Mock cream decorating experience that matches our current range (check out our photos for examples).
• Exceptional freehand piping for handwriting on cakes is an absolute must.
• Customer Service with a vibrant, reliable personality and a proactive "can-do" attitude.
• A current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to get one).
• A commitment to our team—due to conflict-of-interest policies, the successful candidate cannot run a personal cake business or work for another bakery while employed with us.
