Now stocking Pool & Spa chemicals for all your pool & spa maintenance. Electel was 1st started back in 1985 by Howard & Sally Truin along with 3 other partners & commenced in a garage at the Truin family home in Traralgon. As the company expanded & grew, a total of 8 moves were made, including Head Street, Traralgon Maffra Road & 167 Argyle Street. It wasn’t long before yet another building & land

was acquired & Electel moved next door to its present location at 169-171 Argyle Street, Traralgon. Over time Electel would be solely ran & operated by the Truin family & is still family operated today with son Steve & daughter Chris managing the company. Electel has just celebrated 40 years of business in 2025. Electel currently has 19 employees, who have all been with the company for many years in total. Electel is very versatile in what it can provide to the consumer. Not only are we Electrical Contractors but we also have an onsite repair workshop where the technicians will repair motors, pumps, welders, pressure washers, generators & small appliances. In addition to repairs, Electel also has a retail arm that can provide you pumps,electric motors, generators, compressors rural & high pressure poly fittings, poly pipe, hose, water tanks, water filters & cartridges, galvanised. stainless, brass & plastic fittings & fire fighting equipment. We are agents & stockists of the following brands:
