Egg Room Packer and Manager
Location Tuckurimba NSW
Nice Fields Farm is a growing pasture raised egg farm located in Tuckurimba NSW. We are looking for a reliable, detail oriented Egg Room Packer and Manager to take ownership of our egg room operations and ensure eggs are graded, packed and presented to a high standard every day.
This role is based in an air conditioned egg room and is a hands on position suited to someone who enjoys routine, responsibility and working with food products.
About the role
You will be responsible for the day to day running of the egg room including:
Grading and packing pasture raised eggs
Quality control checking for cracks, cleanliness and weight
Labelling cartons accurately and correctly
Managing daily egg counts and basic records
Keeping the egg room clean, organised and food safe
Overseeing stock rotation and storage
Identifying and reporting any issues with egg quality or equipment
Helping improve systems and efficiency over time
As experience grows, this role will move into a manager style position with autonomy and responsibility.
What we are looking for

High standards of cleanliness and organisation
Ability to follow systems and food safety requirements
Reliability and consistency you show up and do the job well every time
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the role
Physically capable of repetitive tasks such as packing and lifting cartons
Basic literacy and numeracy for counts, records and labelling
A calm, methodical approach to work
Experience
Experience in food handling, packing, warehousing or farm work is preferred but not essential
Full training will be provided for the right person
