Most of our beers have a story.
This one means a little more.
Before Pacific Ocean Brewery, before the medals, before the brewery doors ever opened, there was a family name that played a part in getting us here.
For a long time we have wanted to brew a beer that quietly acknowledges that story and Tony our brewer is up for the challenge.
An old Scottish style. A nod to heritage. A nod to family. And maybe a small thank you to the people who backed the dream long before it became reality.
The Anderson 80 Shilling.
Still waiting on final approval from Jane… but I think this one might just make it onto the taps.
