πβ¨ Meet our eggs β straight from Belvedere Farm in Bullcamp, QLD!
A huge thank you to Belvedere Farm for these absolutely stunning pasture raised eggs. Just look at them β every shade of brown, soft cream, even the occasional pale beauty π€π€ No two are the same, just the way nature intended!
Soβ¦ what's the actual difference between pasture raised and the regular eggs at the supermarket? Let me break it down π
π± Pasture raised = hens roam freely outside on actual grass, all day, every day. They scratch, peck, eat bugs, take dust baths, and live like chickens are meant to live.
π "Cage free" or "barn laid" = sounds nice, but usually means thousands of hens packed inside a shed. They never see sunshine or grass.
π₯ The result? Pasture raised eggs have:
Richer, deeper golden yolks π
More omega-3s, vitamin E and vitamin D
Better flavour β once you try them, supermarket eggs taste flat!
Happier hens = better eggs (and better karma π)
Belvedere Farm's motto says it all: FOOD β’ COMMUNITY β’ CHANGE πΏ Keep refrigerated. Eat fresh. We couldn't agree more.
This is exactly the kind of clean, ethical, locally-grown food we want to bring to our families through the bulk buy group. Real food, from real farms, by real people who care π
Drop a π₯ in the comments if you've made the switch to pasture raised β we'd love to hear what you noticed!
