After the fantastic success of our first Drone Day, Four Doors Services is BACK for round two - and this time, we’re opening our doors to the community! 🎉

Our participants will explore drone technology, build confidence and develop practical skills in an exciting, supportive environment.

We’re inviting schools, families, support coordinators, local businesses and community partners to explore our Cessnock centre and discover our growing range of programs!

Discover how our participants are also giving back through our benevolent community program, working alongside our team and partners, including OzHarvest, to prepare food hampers, cook meals and support locals doing it tough.

At Four Doors Services, we’re turning everyday experiences into 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦! 🙌

Our participants have been getting hands-on with our new Square Point of Sale (POS) system, bringing retail training to life!

🛍️ 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗘 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚?

✅ Operating a real retail checkout system
✅ Scanning products and processing sales
✅ Creating barcodes and QR codes
✅ Cash handling, counting money and giving change
✅ Using cash drawers and payment technology
✅ Customer service and communication
✅ Stock management, pricing and problem solving

💡 𝗜𝗧’𝗦 𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗦𝗢 𝗠𝗨𝗖𝗛 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥!

Who said building work and life skills has to happen inside four walls?

Today the Four Doors crew took 𝗙𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 outdoors - hitting the bush tracks, taking in the incredible scenery from 𝗣𝗼𝗸𝗼𝗹𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗼𝘂𝘁 and making the most of a perfect Hunter Valley day! 🌳⛰️

And lunch? We took that on the road too! 👨‍🍳🔥

Our 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 program went bush, with the crew preparing and cooking lunch outdoors after the walk.

Jakob and Danny have been getting stuck into their animal care placement at the Hunter Valley Animal Facility & Rehoming Centre!

From washing dogs and following instructions to developing teamwork, confidence and practical workplace skills, they are putting in a fantastic effort and making every opportunity count. 💪🧼🐕

A huge thank you to the HVAFARC team for providing such a meaningful, hands-on learning experience.

We are at the Maitland Community Disability Expo today, and it’s a great turnout! If you’re in the area, why not pop in and say hello. We are at the East Maitland Bowling Club, upstairs.

We love partnering with organisations in our community to help others in our community.

Four Door Services in conjunction with Oz Harvest have once again donated breads, fruits and vegetables for our families. All items need to go today. The food will be out on display prior to assembly today- so come along and take what you may need.

During the week we had the pleasure of welcoming Dan Repacholi MP to Four Doors Services during our 𝘾𝙊𝙊𝙆𝙄𝙉𝙂 & 𝙇𝙄𝙁𝙀 𝙎𝙆𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙎
group! 👨‍🍳🥘

Our participants put Dan straight to work in the kitchen, where he joined in preparing lunch while chatting with everyone about the skills they've been building, the goals they've achieved, and what makes Four Doors Services such a special place.

One of the highlights of the visit? Dan has agreed to come back soon as a 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩 on our podcast, where our participants will have the opportunity to interview him themselves. We can't wait!
