Keystone Support Services is a registered NDIS provider of in-home, and community supports. We work with our clients, their families, and carers to design quality support options.

Currently, we have multiple vacancies for Disability Support Workers to join our team working with participants both one-on-one and in Supported Independent Living housing. Mentoring will be provided by an experienced and passionate management team.
The Role:
We currently require Disability Support Workers, available for clients based in the Toowoomba region. This role will include:
Building and maintaining trusting and meaningful working relationships with our clients, their circle of support and the community.
Assisting in developing, implementing, and evaluating support plans that enable our clients to set and achieve personal goals.
Facilitating community inclusion and participation and supporting our clients to establish and maintain relationships and interests through access to community activities, venues, and services.
Encouraging positive and socially appropriate behavior and effectively manage challenging behaviors.
Providing personal care where required and personalised support in accordance with the personal support plan.
Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record keeping.
About You:
You will have a passion for working with people with disabilities with an understanding and commitment to a person-centered model of practice.
An ability to work flexible hours with a willingness to work within a 24/7 rotating roster, including overnight shifts and weekend shifts.
You will need to be willing to attend all training required to ensure you have the tools to support your participants.
You will need to meet the following essential criteria for your application to progress:
NDIS Worker Screening and Blue Card.
Completion of the NDIS worker Orientation Module
Willing to Obtain Current Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
Valid Queensland driver’s license and reliable transport with full comprehensive Insurance.
Preferred but not essential.
Cert III Disability (or working towards), or experience in Disability Support
Manual handling training
Administration of medication training
Experience working with challenging behaviors
Experience working with participants who require manual handling and personal care.
Previous experience in and knowledge of the disability services industry.
