Byron & Harold Family owned Australian premium w**es from Great Southern & Margaret River regions in WA. We're all about family, fine w**e, and fun times.

Two lovers of w**e, not just the drinking of it; but the romance of it, the history of it and the pleasure and – yes – inspiration it has given human beings for thousands of years. Two lovers of w**e, one from the west and one from the east, determined to find, package and present the w**e they love in the way they love it. One with the surname Byron, the other with the given name Harold; two gentlemen, really, in the true sense of the word, but with a secret admiration for the 19th century English poet who in his day was regarded as ‘mad, bad and dangerous to know.’

Paul Byron and Harold (Ralph) Dunning have joined forces with award winning designer Annette Harcus and vigneron Andrew Lane to seamlessly deliver the highest quality w**es and service to the w**e drinker of today. After more than a lifetime of combined experience in the Australian w**e trade, they seek out those parcels of w**e that they believe Australian w**e lovers really want to drink. Wines with flavour, w**es that are true to their variety – w**es with provenance.

Building a w**e brand in China is about much more than pouring a great glass, it’s about meeting people, sharing our story and developing genuine relationships.

It was wonderful to see such strong interest in Byron & Harold at the Hangzhou tasting and to introduce our w**es to new customers, buyers and w**e lovers.

Every tasting, conversation and shared glass brings Byron & Harold a little closer to w**e drinkers across China.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made us feel so welcome.

95 POINTS | SUPERB

We’re thrilled to share this outstanding review for our 2024 Byron & Harold The Protocol Cabernet Sauvignon from Christina Pickard.

Described as a “big but shapely w**e,” it displays layers of cedar, white pepper, tarragon and dark chocolate, complemented by plum, dark cherry and blackcurrant. Powerful tannins, vibrant acidity and succulent fruit carry through to a beautifully long finish.

Enjoy now or cellar for the next 8–10 years.

When the Byron & Harold team meeting could have been an email… 🐾🍷

Archie and Macey reporting for duty, supervising operations, keeping an eye on the w**e and patiently waiting for someone to mention treats.

Some of the most important members of the Byron & Harold crew just happen to have four legs.

Warmer weather doesn’t mean your w**e should be warm.

As we head into spring, serving temperature can make a noticeable difference to what you experience in the glass.

White w**es are often best enjoyed chilled, but serving them too cold can mute their aromas and flavours. And reds? They don’t always need to be served at “room temperature”, particularly when the room is warming up. A slight chill can help highlight freshness and fruit.

The tip? Give whites a few minutes out of the fridge before pouring, and don’t be afraid to give your reds a short spell in the fridge on a warm spring afternoon.

Small change, better glass.

Great Winemaking Begins in the Vineyard

The best w**es don't begin in the w**ery; they begin in the vineyard.

At Byron & Harold, every bottle starts with exceptional fruit sourced from Western Australia's renowned Margaret River and Great Southern w**e regions. It's this commitment to provenance that allows every w**e to truly express its place.

Because great w**e is grown first.

Spring has arrived, bringing longer days, warmer afternoons and a fresh approach to the table.

It’s a season that naturally lends itself to lighter dishes, outdoor lunches and w**es chosen for freshness, balance and versatility. Think crisp whites alongside seafood and seasonal salads, or vibrant reds served with spring produce and relaxed weekend fare.

At Byron & Harold, we believe the best w**e occasions don’t need to be complicated. Start with what’s in season, choose a w**e you enjoy, and let good food and good company do the rest.

Here’s to the first tastes of spring.

Some of the best conversations don't happen in a boardroom, they happen around a barrel, with a glass of w**e in hand.

This Father's Day, we're raising a glass to three dads who have dedicated their lives to family, friendship and great w**e, Ralph Dunning, Paul Byron and Rory Parks.

To every dad, grandad, stepdad and father figure who has shared their wisdom, laughter and a few memorable w**es along the way... this one's for you.

Cheers to you. 🍷

Happy Father's Day from Byron & Harold Wines.
