Rain is a blessing that the Earth can not live without;
Rain is a curse that can flood the Earth;
Rain is a relief to a parched and cracked land;
Rain is a discomfort to those that seek the light of sunshine;
No matter how we look at rain, it is a necessity that Earth and Man can not live without.
While the rain endures until the sky shuts her Heaven's;
While the drought persists until the sky releases her rain;
While some parts of the Earth cry and groan for the quenching of parched lips;
While the Heaven's continuously gather her clouds like a mother hen her chicks;
The rain will not fall nor cease at the whim of Man or Earth.
When rain's time is up, she will gather her clouds and vanish;
Rain doesn't announce her departure, but slowly and surely she disappears;
What was once dark and looming begins to disperse and the Heaven's show forth a new and glorious thing!
Patches of cathedral blue begin to appear like stained glass windows in the sky.
Ah the Sun! How she shines so brilliantly forth! Golden beams of glory shining upon a Earth that has been washed, watered and caressed by the tears of Heaven.
And once again the Earth shines and glistens; she begins to smile.
The birds sing. The grasshoppers shrill. The frogs croak. The plants open their leaves heavenward in praise to the One that supplied their needs. The Earth has come alive after her rest. Truly, there is beauty after the rain.
