It’s lime season and that means it’s time to for Lime Divine! 🍋‍🟩🍋
Every jar begins with fresh locally sourced limes, carefully sliced before being dehydrated to capture their zesty citrus flavour. The limes are then slowly infused into our pure raw honey allowing the bright citrus notes to naturally blend with the rich flavours of the honey. 🍯

Sweet zesty and incredibly versatile, Lime Divine is delicious drizzled over desserts such as cheesecake, spread over fresh sourdough, paired with cheeses or stirred into hot teas to create a soothing citrus drink. ☕️🍋‍🟩🍯

Behind every jar of Melibee honey is a whole lot of work long before the bees even move in. 🐝🐝
Geoff has been busy preparing new hive boxes for the seasons ahead. Every box is carefully built, branded, dipped and painted by hand before it’s ready to head out to the apiary.

It’s a slow process, but one we never rush. Beekeeping isn’t just about harvesting honey, it’s about planning ahead, looking after the bees, and putting in the work behind the scenes.
There’s always something happening in a beekeeper’s calendar, and this is just one small part of the journey. 🍯🐝

We’re thrilled to share that our Melibee Creamed Honey was awarded a Silver Medal at this years Sydney Royal National Honey Competition, in the Commercial Creamed Honey category 🥈🍯

A score of 90–94 earns a Silver Medal, and we’re incredibly proud that our creamed honey scored 92. Creamed honey is judged against a strict set of quality standards and scored on its evenness of grain, flavour, firmness and colour.

What makes this award so special, is that this same creamed honey is the foundation of all our flavour infused creamed honeys. Every jar starts with the same smooth, carefully crafted base before we infuse our unique natural flavours.

To have our creamed honey recognised on the national stage is a wonderful acknowledgement of the time, skill and consistency needed to produce a premium-quality creamed honey.

World Bee Day is today! 🐝🍯❤️
Bees play a vital role in preserving ecosystem
health and providing pollination services for plants. Without bees, food security is at risk as they help to pollinate three-quarters of human food diversity and crops to feed livestock.

There are more than 20,000 species of bee’s that exist across the world. Australia is home to the European honey bees (Apis mellifera) and more than 2000 native bee species.
