Still thinking about entering the Caboolture Mazda Beef Grand Prix?

Good news - late entries remain open until 5:00pm 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟏𝟒 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞.

Yes, there is a late entry fee, however we’ve intentionally kept this modest compared with many show late entry charges because we’d genuinely love to see more cattle and more people involved.

We’ve had a number of conversations with people who assumed the competition would simply be too strong to make entering worthwhile.

Our view?

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐛𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤.

With over $145,000 in prizes and incentives, a Mazda BT-50 guaranteed to be won, prize money extending beyond just the overall winner, junior and heifer incentives, breed bonuses and meaningful rewards across the event - this is not a winner takes all competition.

And while there will absolutely be quality cattle competing, if you’ve been picturing an overwhelming sea of entries… the reality may be somewhat different.

Someone still has to stand at the front of each line.

Another round of newbies have just arrived… 60 2.5/3.5 year old Angus cows. These girls are based off Booroomooka, Rennylea and Landfall Angus bloodlines.

Out with in old and in with the new. Very lucky to have the opportunity to purchase this fantastic line of Angus cows. These cows are based off Te Mania, Dulverton and Eaglehawk Angus genetics.

Another round of old girls heading off + a very welcome down pour, very unexpected..

Another two trucks loaded and off to their new homes. These rounds included some Speckle Park and Angus steers plus a portion of Speckle Park heifers.

And just like that. Our last round of Speckle Park and Angus heifers have left for the feedlot. Not long until the last lot of steers make their departure.

Another round of Speckle Park and Angus steers loaded and off to the feedlot. Despite the dry conditions (and forecasted heavy rain that fizzled out) these steers have been churning along. Now to focus on the next batch.
