The most magical unicorn cake for Maisy moos 4th birthday Millie Lowndes

The crystals are based off the Japanese confectionery kohakutou. It’s safe to say I’m obsessed with making these edible jellies and I’ll happily spend my days carving crystals and bringing all my girly child/adulthood dreams to life (not saying I don’t appreciate my own mums creations growing up- the horse shaped ice cream cake will live on in my memory forever 🥰)

Loved this request and loved using something other than flowers to adorn this beauty. Also loved using some of the recipients own shell collection to create a cake to celebrate her and her happy place; the beach.

The cake was a super spiced chocolate & evoo cake with caramel pears and vanilla bean French buttercream.

The Ruffle Queen. I had about one second of self doubt whilst piping this cake, wondering if it was a bit much before deciding it was the absolute right amount of muchness. She was an espresso chocolate & olive oil cake with coffee mousse, roasted plums and torched vanilla bean swiss meringue buttercream. A cake made for a lover of chocolate, coffee and flowers 🫶🏻

Chocolate & olive oil cake w oat vanilla bean custard, raspberry coulis and vanilla bean swiss meringue buttercream (DF and coloured with beetroot syrup)

The happy/exhausted face of a woman who just smashed her end of year bake record out of the park, all without a single meltdown or f*ck up.

Damn, it feels good! As does knowing that I have the next 2.5 weeks off with my little darling heart, doing whatever we would like and without a worry in the world. It has been such a massive year and honestly, 2025 did not begin well. To come out the other side thriving is the biggest achievement of all.

I have so much gratitude for my retailers that keep ordering week in and week out. Their love and support makes the life I live possible. They are all stocked up with Wild Woman bakes for Christmas and NYE.

Last week’s edible tablescape for an intimate dinner hosted by the forever inspiring and beautiful .biviano for a group of revolutionary women. As someone who struggles to open up in group settings, it blows my mind listening to the courage of women sharing their stories. It is a privilege to be invited into these spaces and to nourish those who gather around the table.

A massive thank you to Nat for allowing total creative freedom and for curating such a wonderful night. This was my last event for 2025 and a great precedent for what I’m welcoming into 2026, which is to play with food and make art.

~ Christmas Puddings 2025 ~

It’s been a big few weeks! So much love has gone into these and every step from soaking the fruit to mixing by hand and then the final wrapping and labelling has been done by myself in my home kitchen. I’m super proud of these little puds and knowing they’ll be shared at your table with family and friends on Christmas Day fills my heart with joy.
