We’re revegetating areas across two of our NSW properties through the Living Carbon program with native tubestock plantings that improve biodiversity, build landscape health, and generate carbon credits.
It’s taken a fair bit of groundwork to get here, but it’s good to see it coming together. We couldn’t have done it without the support from Local Land Services and the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. 
This project is proudly cofunded by the NSW Government under the Net Zero Plan Stage 1: 2020–2030, through the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, and delivered in association with Local Land Services.

This year, MHPF are sponsoring Riverina Local Land Services to help bring you the very first Southern beef and lamb school from 17-19 February 2026 in Wagga Wagga

On the program:

• Markets: capitalising on international and domestic opportunities
• Using genetics and genomics for advancing beef and lamb operations
• Optimising animal health and nutrition
• Healthy soils and productive pastures
• Improving carcase quality
• Farm business management

With morning presentations, afternoon workshops and tours, and networking dinners and lunches this is not your average industry conference.

The school will deliver industry insights, practical know-how and skills to apply straight away.
