Wagga Wagga Show Society Next Generation We are a team of young volunteers who aim to incorporate the enthusiasm, new ideas and energy of our younger generations into the existing local Show.

A platform for young adults 18-35yrs interested in involvement in the future of the Wagga Wagga Agricultural Show. What is our aim? To form some ideas to present to the Wagga Wagga Show Society for the 2017 Show and to allow members to become involved in areas of the Show that they are interested in.

Our Story

Next Gen was formed in late 2016 by a team of young volunteers from a range of backgrounds, who share a passion for our local community, rural NSW and for the Show movement. We believe that the engagement of youth in our Agricultural Shows is extremely important for allowing these showcasing events to continue into the future. From this, our aim is to incorporate the enthusiasm and new ideas of our younger generations into the existing local Show and aid the Wagga Wagga Show Society in the organisation and running of the Show. We hope to provide the community of Wagga Wagga with a more functional, enjoyable and competitive Show, where members of the local community can showcase their produce, livestock and businesses, and enjoy themselves in a family friendly environment for many years to come.
