Sshhh can you hear that?? No, it’s not shaking, it’s our OMC shakers Brutus & Eleanor snoring after another season! 😴 There’s still nuts to be picked up, but these two get an early rest, meaning the end of harvest is not too far away!! Watch this space to find out when it’s all over 👀 🍃🌳🍃

There are lots of conversations about pests vs beneficials in an almond orchard, even at harvest time. We love our friendly insects like bees 🐝 ladybirds 🐞 and lacewings 🪰 but we also have to deal with pests like crows, galahs, carpophilus beetles - and yes even kangaroos 🦘. Of course our favourite beneficial of all is Murray, the mascot, seen here doing a crop inspection of our nonpareil. Thanks for all your hard work Murray, we appreciate you!! 🌳💚🤍
