I would like to gratefully thank all my wonderful family, friends, customers and market family who have supported me over the past several years at the Greater Whitsunday Farmers Market and the Mackay Farmers Markets. Itโs with a heavy heart that I wish to advise you all that Wednesday the 20th December 2023, will be my last market.
Dealing with a health issue and four immediate family deaths in the past four years, has taken a strain on myself and family, therefor Iโve decided to step away from weekly markets to concentrate on developing my business from home. I will be continuing with Vintage Farmhouse Kitchen offering Mackay our range of homemade preserves, pasta & ravioli, Marioโs Pastizzi and seasonal produce.
It has been an amazing journey so far. Being part of the original team from the Greater Whitsunday Network to the current Mackay Farmers Markets, making long term friendships with other stallholders and customers.
John and I hopefully will be able to fit in some overseas travels and pursue a project we have been developing over the past two years and will be launching in 2024. So as one door closes another opens.
Please continue to follow and like Vintage Farmhouse Kitchen to keep updated with whatโs happening on the farm and donโt forget to enter the competition for a chance to win a $100 Christmas Hamper.

We are nearing the end of lychee season in the Mackay area. Currently picking the late varieties of Kwai Mee Pink (limited supply) and Wai Chee ($10kg or $45 for a 5kg box) Please message me to place order. Collection from our Walkerston/Marian farm will be between 10am and 3pm today. Eftpos available.
We still have a limited supply of Fai Zee Sui ($15kg or $70 5kg box) and Kaimana ($12kg) available. This week we're picking Fai Zee Sui and Kaimana lychees. Fai Zee Sui have a mottled red/green complexion and super sweet with a small to medium seed. Kaimana are red with a medium to small seed. Tomorrow's markets we will have FZS premium for $18kg, 5kg box $85 and seconds $15kg. Kaimana $15kg. We will also be taking orders for 5kg boxes for our last Mackay's Farmer's Markets 21st December.

PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE Our popular Wednesday morning market is officially in safe hands and will continue to operate thanks to the efforts of our dedicated group of stall holders and support from Mackay Regional Council. The markets will continue to be held each Wednesday from 6:30am-10:30am at the Blue Water Quay. We want to thank the ongoing support from our community who's hunger for quality, fresh and seasonal produce and products has not gone unnoticed. It's school holidays this week and we cant wait to see you Wednesday morning with your families and friends as we continue to connect you with artisan foods sold by our regions finest growers and makers at Mackay's only authentic farmers market.
