Jumping into the long weekend the only way we know how… straight into the puddles 😂🌧️💦

Safe to say winter has officially arrived around here!

We got two new girls today… and they’ve already moved in like they pay rent 😂🐔💛

Standing there quietly watching us like “if we don’t move, they can’t see us…” while half their bodies were still sticking out from behind the tree 😅

Nice try girls, but you’re not exactly built for hide and seek.

Here is a little video of our “little” hay monsters coming in for their brush down and feed — because apparently being adorable is a full-time job around here 💛🌾

Wilbur had a serious case of Mondayitis today… and honestly, we don’t blame him 🐷😴

The energy was low, the motivation was missing, and the attitude was very much “don’t talk to me until snack time.”

No drama, no tantrums, no running around causing chaos for once — just Wilbur embracing the slow start to the week like the rest of us 😂☕️

Today we had the RSPCA come out to do a welfare check on some of our animals after a report regarding a few of our chickens missing feathers.

As always, we welcomed the visit openly and were more than happy to have our animals and property inspected. Anyone who knows us knows the love, time, care and absolute dedication that goes into every single animal here 💛

The officers left very happy with what they saw, describing the farm as an amazing setup and understanding that when you work with rescue animals, there can sometimes be little imperfections and signs of their past lives.

Not every animal that comes through our gates arrives picture perfect — many come with stories, scars, quirks and challenges. What matters most to us is that they are safe, cared for, loved and given the very best life possible.

We also genuinely appreciate that people are looking out for the wellbeing of our animals. At the end of the day, we all want the same thing — animals that are safe, healthy and cared for 🐔💛. If you ever have any concerns regarding the welfare of our animals please speak to our staff or you can put in a contact email through our website. We are happy to talk to you about our animals any time and this allows the RSPCA to use their resources for the cases that warrant it.

We’ll always continue to advocate for rescue animals, even if they don’t always look “perfect” on the outside 🌾

POV: you open your camera roll looking for farm content… and it’s just 700 photos of the same animals from slightly different angles- obviously some are more photogenic then others😂📸

So instead, enjoy this reminder that the farm crew are still out here causing chaos, demanding snacks, and acting like they pay the bills 😌🌾

It’s probably about time we did a proper introduction… even if we’re a little late to the party 😅

Meet Zach— our “new” guy who’s actually been part of the farm for just over a year now! Safe to say he’s settled in pretty well… and by that, we mean he’s become an absolute favourite with our guests 💛

From helping out on tours to getting stuck into farm life, Zach has been a huge part of keeping things running (and keeping the chaos under control… sometimes 😂). The amazing feedback and reviews he’s already received say it all!

If you’ve visited us recently, chances are you’ve already met him — and if not, don’t worry… you will soon! 👀
