Lomas Orchards Estb in 1938 passed down through 4 gen in the Lomas family with fruit, veg, berries & workshops. We dont have efpos facilities. Check us out on Tripadvisor!

We are a family owned and run farm and have a wide range of Fruit and vegetables in store: (Please note these are available at different times of the year)

Carrots and more depending on season. After fruit for Jams and Preservers or if you just want lots of it to eat, we take orders for cases of Apricots, apples, pears, quinces (seasonally) . Due to biosecurity we do NOT allow dogs. We also conduct Fruit Tree pruning/grafting/Espalier/pest/disease workshops over the winter months.

For those people who attended our espalier workshop here is an update on one of the espalier Pear trees. As you can see it’s starting to leaf now. Our Adam and Eve trees are now in full leaf.

Boysenberries are half in flower and some forming berries. Baby quinces now formed of the quince trees. The apple blossoms are bursting out everywhere and the bees are out in force pollinating.

Sunday we are heading to the Drysdale Market so catch us under the oak trees.

It’s was full steam ahead, so to speak, putting up strawberry beds for the new patch. Getting close to planting now.

Meanwhile over in the other patch we are weeding and cleaning patch up. There are a few red tinged berries coming on. Stay tuned!

We are BACK on the ground and forming strawberry beds finally🤞. We will be calling out to any one who would like to volunteer their help to plant once beds are up.

Back in the orchards the apples are a mass of flowers, plums , peaches, figs and apricots all have formed fruits now.

💥Reminder we are only open from 10-12 noon tomorrow so come early to stock up. 💥

Check out our orchards with the plums growing well, cherries in bloom, and apricots are getting larger. You will have to wait until December for some of these favourites.

Did you guess that these green berries are Mulberries in the making. They sure are loaded this year. If you haven’t tried these very sweet berries you will have to wait until late November.

Citrus has been amazing, check out these delicious grapefruits. Did you know they have a low glycemic index.

Our super pink lady box special has now FINISHED. We are open tomorrow with apples, pears, quinces, grapefruit, blood oranges, lemons, tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, pumpkin, onions, honey, and more.
We do not have efpos facilities so come prepared.

Do you know what these are? They are green when ripe and very sweet but will not be ready until end of November.

As you can see the new strawberry patch has gone from a lake to a muddy patch. 🤞 we hope to get back on ground in next 2 days.

Meanwhile in the shop you can still get our apple box $25 pink lady, also pears, tomatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, potatoes, pumpkin, beetroot, honey, coffee, quinces, and more.

One of our tallest pear trees is starting to flower. It’s so pretty with the coloured stamens and the cherries with their delicate bunches of flowers.

Finally we have some water in our dams which have been dry for sometime. Those rains we great for dams. Meanwhile in the future strawberry patch ground is still too wet to get a tractor onto it. Stay tuned on its drying out!

You still have time to secure a box of pink lady apples for ONLY $25. But hurry time is running out.

Well we have decided to extend it for a couple of days due to last weeks inclement weather. Box of pink lady apples $25.
