Lomas Orchards Estb in 1938 passed down through 4 gen in the Lomas family with fruit, veg, berries & workshops. We dont have efpos facilities. Check us out on Tripadvisor!

ending on season. After fruit for Jams and Preservers or if you just want lots of it to eat, we take orders for cases of Apricots, apples, pears, quinces (seasonally) . Due to biosecurity we do NOT allow dogs. We also conduct Fruit Tree pruning/grafting/Espalier/pest/disease workshops over the winter months.

Just thought we would share some tropical fruit pictures for Cairns market. Lots of different fruits and veggies in season.

Part of our team has been lucky enough to escape to FNQ to warmer weather. Check out these lady finger bananas grown by our Gen 4 in Cairns. They taste so amazing.

This dessert is a baklava baked with pear, pistachio and rose syrup. So creative and delicious. What’s your amazing dessert?

Look who’s waiting to greet you! Do you love pumpkin? What’s your favourite way to cook it? This is baked butternut pumpkin with dates and maple syrup. It’s also delicious baked and added to a roast salad.

The weather ☀️sure turn it on for our pruning stone fruits today. The orchard was a picture of colour due to the mild weather we have had.
We hope everyone enjoyed their time with us today and now have the confidence to prune at home. We look forward to hearing how you are going. You are all now in the draw to win an apple tree.

What’s your favourite winter dessert? Apple 🍎 pies, stewed apple? Some of our delicious cooking apples are reinette, five crown, lord Nelson and Granny smith.

Enjoy the crunch of our walnuts now in season.
Create a roasted vegetable salad for dinner with pumpkin, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, beetroot, carrot or what ever you like. This was absolutely delicious for dinner.

Our mulberry trees have mixed up when they should fruit with the early mild weather. We are enjoying the few we are getting but you will have to wait until November when they are ready.
