Heartbroken to have lost this beautiful girl, who was bred by Mel Semmler, and an 18th birthday gift to my niece, Jess Williams. Seven days after a re**al tear arising from a pregnancy check ultrasound conducted by our vet, Emerald succumbed to septic peritonitis. She had three emergency surgeries, but infection prevailed. Emerald never let go of her baby to Sijama Reykjavik and they are buried next to Ember.

Emerald was awarded winner of her Suri conformation class by Judges Elaine Brovont and Stephen Fritz, and Runner Up Best in Show Female by Stephen Fritz at the LAA 2025 Virtual Llama Show.

Emerald’s hilarious paddock antics, and best on farm behaviour on lead, and for nails, shearing, and needles is missed by us all, particularly her bestie, New Leaf’s Waratah.

Keep Llama heaven fun and full of spice sweet girl 💔

Baby Poet left his mum, Moccasin, and the girls herd today to start life as one of the boys. Geldings Mitch and William have responsibility for the weanling boys, and are very good with the littlies. Today though, they grizzled deluxe at having to stay inside and baby sit. Tomorrow they’ll go out in the paddock together.
