A MASSIVE Black-headed Python in the paddock on the 2nd of June. 🐍

We weren’t expecting to see her out and about with these cool mornings.

The question is... is she just enjoying the sunshine, or is she trying to tell us there’s big rain on the way? 🌧️

Some people have a knack for making hard work feel easy, and Prue is certainly one of them.

A huge thank you to Prue from CPB Livestock Photography for not only capturing these incredible images, but for bringing so much enthusiasm, creativity and laughter to the day.

From our catalogue photos to our sire profiles, every shot was approached with patience, professionalism and an eye for detail that continually impresses us.

While the finished images are outstanding, it's the experience of creating them that we'll remember just as fondly.

We feel incredibly fortunate to work alongside people who genuinely care about helping us showcase our program at its very best, and Prue is certainly one of those people.

Thank you for your hard work, your passion and for sharing plenty of laughs along the way.

We're already looking forward to round two when we catch up again for video production in the coming weeks! 📸🤎

📋 Catalogue lot ordering... ✅

A big thank you to Andrew & Jay from KellCo Rural Agency and TopX Taroom who spent the day with us sorting through the catalogue lot ordering for this year’s sale.

With plenty of discussion, shared knowledge and experienced eyes on the draft, it was a valuable day of collaboration as we worked through the line-up together.

We genuinely appreciate the insight, feedback and perspective these two bring to the table, and the time they invest in helping us put our best foot forward.

The bulls, meanwhile, were excellent participants. They stood patiently while being viewed from every angle, collected more than their fair share of scratches, and only suffered the occasional clipboard poke in the pursuit of perfection! 🤣

We’re incredibly fortunate to have agents who are willing to invest the time, share their knowledge and provide honest feedback.

The collaboration is something we genuinely value, and we always walk away with a better result because of it.

One step closer to sale day... and thankfully the bulls have already forgiven us. 🐂😂

🌱 Can gut health influence temperament, performance & profitability in cattle? We were curious too…

We were incredibly fortunate to be involved in this trial with the team at Multikraft Probiotics - MPA and to see the results firsthand within our heifer program.

At Rocking Chair Ranch, temperament, performance, efficiency & overall animal wellbeing are all traits we place enormous value on — so it was exciting to explore how supporting gut biology may positively influence those areas during higher pressure periods such as grazing transitions & AI preparation.

What stood out most to us was not just the performance data, but the consistency and overall presentation of the cattle throughout the trial.

A huge thank you to the Multikraft team for the opportunity, professionalism & support throughout the process, with a special thanks to Scott Reed whose enthusiasm, vision & ability to see opportunity were a real driving force behind the collaboration.

Temperament is on point 👌.

Was out on sunset today trying to snag a few aesthetically pleasing photos with that beautiful golden light but the boys certainly had different ideas.

My volunteers were under the impression that I must be standing on all the good feed 🤷‍♀️.

Next time I think I’ll take out the small lens, no zoom needed.

Anyone else terrified by the possibility of this huge 8 legged friend landing on their face 😳.

Yep it was safely removed from RCR Tune with a large stick & released back into the wild.

No dogs or spiders were harmed in the filing of this video 😅.

Anyone else terrified by the possibility of this huge 8 legged friend landing on their face 😳???

Yep it was safely removed from RCR Tune with a large stick & released back into the wild.

No dogs or spiders were harmed in the filing of this video 😅.

Recently, we had the privilege of completing the AgriEmerging Markets Program, proudly supported by Shell & facilitated by the Toowoomba & Surat Basin Enterprise.

It’s hard to put into words just how valuable the experience has been — not only for our business, but for us personally.

The program challenged our thinking, gave us space to step back and look at the bigger picture, and helped shape the direction we’re heading with greater clarity and confidence.

One of the most unexpected highlights was the people. Being surrounded by like-minded individuals, all working hard in their own businesses, led to genuine connections and friendships we’re incredibly grateful for.

By the legendary Highbrow Cat grandson Intricatolena and half sister to successful cutting horse Senor Spin.

Peanut is a 14.3hh, 15-year-old proven broodmare, offered empty and ready to breed this season.

She has had two foals to date (youngest currently being started) and has proven herself to be an easy, reliable breeder.

She is up to date with worming, dental, and supplements, and is a great doer.

While Peanut wasn’t campaigned in competition, she was a valued part of our contract mustering team throughout her ridden career.

She’s a tough, smart, very cowy mare with a great work ethic.
She is producing trainable, competitive-minded progeny with level heads and easy riding temperaments.
