SHOP SWAP: SUNSCREEN EDITION ☀️

Thinking about what’s in your sunscreen?
Many conventional sunscreens use chemical UV filters such as homosalate and octocrylene. These are ingredients we prefer to avoid due to the ongoing research and concerns around potential hormone disruption, skin sensitivity as well as the environmental impact.

We choose products with:
- Non-nano mineral zinc
- Plant-based & naturally derived ingredients
- Simpler formulas
- Options for sensitive skin
- Reef-conscious formulations

Our mineral sunscreen swaps use non-nano zinc oxide as their active UV filter, a mineral ingredient that sits on the skin and helps reflect and scatter UVA + UVB rays.

Plus, many of these formulas feature plant oils, botanical extracts and naturally derived ingredients, with options free from synthetic fragrance and other ingredients we prefer to avoid.

🥳 Happy 2 Year Workversary to Gordo! ⛳️🍎

Gordo has been such an incredible asset to our Wholefoods team over the past two years. From countless trips transferring stock between our stores, to keeping our produce organised and everything running smoothly behind the scenes. His eye for detail and organisation are second to none.

Always willing to jump in, lend a hand and do whatever needs to be done (hopefully with enough time left for a round of golf! ⛳️), we are so grateful for everything you bring to our team.
