Now that the dust has settled and all of the cattle have arrived safely at there new homes we better do a sale report.
After 14 years of stud breeding TAWN Charolais held there dispersal on the 4-6 of October on Auctions plus.
The sale recorded nearly all full clearence with the rest of the lots sold after the sale with 35 lots averaging $2834.
20 Cows and calves averaged $3670
5 PTIC cows averaged $2496
10 unjoined yearling heifers averaged $1334
Top price lot was Lot 4 Tawn Beatrix (P) selling for $6080 to Tungamah Farming Ply Ltd, Longreach, Qld. Tungamah also secured the second top price for lot 17 Tawn Stella (P) at $4720. Tungamah was also a volume buyer taking home 11 lots.
Top price heifer lot 38 Tawn Shiloh (P) sold for $1680 to Hero Park Charolais, Gilgandra.
Volume buyer of the day was Michael Coleman, Ashendelle Charolais, Kerang, VIC taking home 12 lots. There top purchase was lot 9 Tawn Sienna (P) at $4700.
35 head sold 6 different ways.
