An appreciation post for our hard-working Baker's Dozen Gin 🤎⁠

Before the bar, before the brewery, before most people had heard of Hang 10... there was Baker's Dozen. ⁠

Our very first gin. ⁠
The one that started it all.⁠
(And it didn't look like this, the OGs will remember!)⁠
⁠
Born from the idea of rescuing surplus bread and turning it into something delicious, Baker's Dozen has quietly become a staple around here. It's the gin that's seen countless batches, recipe tweaks, long production days and plenty of G&Ts.⁠

And somehow, we're now up to Batch #7... and we reckon it might be our best one yet!⁠

Bold, complex and packed with character, it's the gin we keep coming back to.⁠
⁠

A huge thank you to for allowing us to screen the film, and of course to & for creating such a beautiful adventure and piece of storytelling.

We're excited to welcome Jack Willis to the distillery for an afternoon of coastal surf-folk, indie-pop and easy-going acoustic tunes.

Hailing from the South Coast of NSW, Jack's sound draws inspiration from artists like Jack Johnson, Ziggy Alberts and Passenger, the perfect soundtrack for a drink in hand and a relaxed Saturday afternoon.

This week he'll be playing a solo set, bringing his warm vocals, rhythmic guitar style and laid-back coastal energy to Hang 10.

Current challenge: figuring out where the next barrels are going to go. 🥃⁠

Every time you visit the distillery, you're looking at future whisky (and some rum) quietly ageing away in the background.⁠
⁠
We'll soon start to shuffle things around again as more whisky will make its way into barrels. It's one of the perks of running a small craft distillery, every square metre has a job to do.⁠

We’re bringing a taste of Spain to the distillery on Friday 12 June with a Paella Night in collaboration with Alfonso’s Catering ✨⁠

From 6pm to 7pm, Alfonso will be serving up authentic Chicken & Chorizo Paella cooked fresh onsite. Rich saffron rice, smoky chorizo, tender chicken and all the vibrant flavours inspired by traditional Spanish paella.⁠

With over 40 years of culinary experience, Alfonso is known around the Northern Beaches for creating incredible food designed to bring people together.⁠
