This is what real food looks like. Oranges from Maria, limes from Daina, lemons from Jo. We love receiving excess local fruit from our friends to create different products. The zest and juice from this lot are going into our fruit mince pies for Christmas.
We do things the traditional way and collect produce through the year when it’s in season and combine it with brandy, spices, brown sugar, and lots of premium dried fruit.
Real food is better than something out of a bucket any day of the week.

After a long hiatus, our roasted pumpkin and black garlic sourdough is back. We’ve grown our own garlic, then gently cooked it over 4 weeks to develop rich sweet and umami flavours that pair perfectly with roasted pumpkin and a bit more black garlic from the legends at Volcano Produce Tower Hill. This is our special savoury danish on offer at the The Fresh Market Warrnambool this morning. Roasted carrots from Volcano Produce Tower Hill, black garlic mayo, made with Volcano Produce Tower Hill black garlic, shaved black truffles from Ian and Necia at Tower Hill, and saltbush foraged from the crater rim of Tower Hill.
Truffle season is very fleeting, so try some of these beauties while you can!
