A sea of yellow broccoli flowers means more than just a beautiful view. It's a vital food source for our busiest workers.

Bees play an essential role in pollination, supporting the health of our farm's ecosystem. Every visit from these tiny pollinators helps nature continue its remarkable cycle.

It's a gentle reminder that even the smallest creatures have the biggest impact.

Straight from the farm and bursting with flavour.

Today’s harvest includes fresh broccoli, crisp celery, yuzu and juicy mandarins, all grown right here at Penobscot Farm. From nutrient-rich soil to your plate, every crop is nurtured with care using our organic and biodynamic farming practices.

There’s nothing quite like produce picked at its peak.

Fennel is one of the most versatile plants, bulb, stalk, fronds and seeds are all edible.

With its crisp texture and subtle aniseed flavour, fennel can be enjoyed raw, roasted, or even used to flavour dishes long after harvest.

🌿 Farm Tours at Penobscot Farm 🌿

Penobscot Farm is more than just a destination, it’s our home, our workplace, and a space we carefully protect. To preserve its beauty and integrity, our Farm Tours are exclusively available to accommodation guests or as part of a pre-booked experience.

Join us daily at 4pm for our Farm Tour & Degustation Dinner, an immersive journey through the farm where you’ll hear, see, smell, feel, and taste your way through our practices. Discover the principles of organic, bio-dynamic, and permaculture farming, alongside insights into Indigenous land management.

Our bio-dynamic approach is deeply connected to nature’s rhythms, a unique balance of science, intuition, and environment. It’s this “alchemy” that brings out the incredible flavour and nourishment in everything we grow.

Experience includes:
– Guided farm tour
– Six-course degustation lunch or dinner
– Optional matched wine, gin or mocktails

$250 per person

Available to book alongside your stay at the Watervale Hotel Guesthouse or Penobscot Farm Cottage. Beverage selections can be made on the day.
