An appreciation post for the best man I know. 🙌

Dad — or "Tricks" as I call him — showed up again yesterday for a full day in the barrel shed. Scissor lift up and down, sheets of tin (sharp ones), screwing, pop riveting, drilling. A proper day's work from a man who never complains and never says no.

As a small family winery, every dollar matters. Having Dad roll his sleeves up and get it done alongside me doesn't just save us money — it means the world. There's something pretty special about building this place with your old man by your side.

Dad, you are an absolute legend. I love you and I'm grateful for you every single day. 🍷

We're opening our barrel shed for a very special in-person sale — Saturday AND Sunday, 11am to 4pm.

Some of our most sought-after wines at prices we're not publishing online. You have to come and find out in person. Think of it as a cellar door treasure hunt — trust us, it's worth showing up for.

While the big events buzz around the valley, come and find us at 4 North Terrace, Watervale. You'll find the warehouse sale in our Barrel Shed- Just follow the signs!

No tickets. No bookings. Just show up. 🍷

Meet Jason. Owner here at Crabtree Wines and Head of getting purple hands. 😂🍇

This is what vintage week looks like at Crabtree. No suits. No PR polish. Just the real work of winemaking — and honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.

That's our traditional basket press. One of the most gentle ways to press red grapes, preserving the flavour and finesse of the fruit. It's slow. It's labour intensive. And it produces wine you can actually taste the difference in.

We bought Crabtree because we love wine — and this photo is proof they meant it. 🙌

We're looking back at vintage that was now that we've finally got a few more minutes free per day!

Great wines take a great team! 🍷introducing Pablo. Pablo joins us from Argentina and is joining us for his first ever vintage. Pablo's family back home grow citrus and stone fruits at their home orchard and has been doing it all here with us. Driving tractors, digging out presses and of course helping us keep the winery clean. Thanks for joining us this year Pablo!
