Clayton’s been busy trimming trees and replanting for the next season while we all pretend Christmas isn’t only 7 months away 😂

Final update 🌲 | 34 days of our Christmas tree

Here’s the final video of our tree after 34 days 🎄
This year we cut it a week earlier than usual as a test for our eager early-November decorators.

🗓 Cut: 22 November
🧺 Taken down: Boxing Day (as always, before our son’s birthday on the 27th)

So… what’s the verdict?
The tree absolutely smelt incredible in that final week, but for us, we love it looking a little more lush on Christmas Day.

With the Australian climate in mind, cutting as close to 1 December as possible is still our winner 🌿
So our 2026 opening weekend remains unchanged —
📅 First day open: 28 November 2026

Real Christmas trees are 100% recyclable 🌲♻️

Campbelltown Council has a Christmas tree drop-off day tomorrow and these trees will be turned into mulch and put to good use.

Don’t forget to remove all decorations and your tree stand before dropping off — and pop the stand somewhere safe so it’s ready and waiting for next Christmas 🎄💚

Christmas cleanup starts with the tree 🎄

Bring your real, natural Christmas tree down to the Community Recycling Centre this Saturday (10 January) from 7am to 12pm and give it a second life.
