I’m a Wife and a Mum of two beautiful girls, as well as the Owner and Edible Art Creator at Des Bakes & Decorates. I’ve had a passion for creating cakes and treats for family and friends since I was a teenager. kills, expertise, and experience, I have loved helping others celebrate their loved ones on special occasions and milestones by easing their overwhelm that is ‘Party Planning’, and creating delicious, unique, and thoughtfully designed, memorable works of edible art. Everything created in my kitchen is made with love, an acute attention to detail, and is a little bit artsy. My Cakes are baked fresh and frosted with smooth, silky, eat-from-the-bowl Swiss Meringue Buttercream. My Sugar Cookies are custom decorated with my Signature Homemade Marshmallow Fondant - none of that store-bought fondant.
