Our Winemaker, Peter, Steps Up for a Cause Close to His Heart

Big news from the Panacea Estate family, our very own Peter Christen has just been appointed as a Director for Conquer Cancer Australia Charity. 🎗️

Peter has always believed that wine brings people together, and now he’s using that same spirit to make a real difference. He’s taking on an incredible mission: fundraising to support life-saving cancer research and patient care.

As many of you know, Peter is not just passionate about crafting great wines; he’s passionate about community, about giving back, and about standing up for causes that matter.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing ways you can get involved and support this journey. Whether it’s through donations, attending events, or simply spreading the word - every little bit helps. 🙏🏼

We’ve Been a Little Quiet… But We’re Still Here!

You might have noticed we haven’t been posting much lately. We’ve had a few things to work through with council (regarding permits for our planned larger events). But rest assured, we’re still here, still making wine, and the Cellar Door is open 12 - 5pm every Saturday, and most Sundays.

And some exciting news: you can now find our wines at , swing by their multiple locations across Victoria, and enjoy a glass and world-class pizza!!

What's been happening behind the scenes at Panacea Estate, Welshman's Reef?

Well — in between pouring wines and hosting you all fireside, we’re also working on something bigger…

As we look to grow and evolve what Panacea Estate can offer — from events and accommodation, we’re engaging with local council planning processes to ensure everything is done thoughtfully, respectfully, and in line with the character of our region.
It’s a journey that takes time, and a good amount of patience as we have had some hold ups from council. But Peter is passionate about creating a venue that reflects his vision for winemaking that includes you, our community.

We’ll keep you posted as things unfold. In the meantime, come visit, raise a glass, open every Saturday and most Sundays 12 - 5pm.
