Right, so we’ve been in Bali a couple of weeks now and when we got here we had to go incognito to surprise some friends! Which was awesome!!

1st night we ordered in. Burger Brothers in Sanur did not disappoint at all. Great smash burger and loaded fries. And of course the mandatory Bintang!!

So the other day we went into Melbourne to check out a place called Seoul Tiger. It made 38 on the world’s top 101 burger list. I know everyone has different tastes and likes, this was ok. But it’s not the best burger I’ve had. Still good and worth a visit if you’re in the area. We also tried out the prawn Pattie, jamon fries and ham, cheese and corn dog! Not too bad. I’ve never had to wait in line for a burger before!! 🤷‍♂️🍔

So the other day I journeyed on down to Coburg to Brewdog to catch up with someone I hadn’t seen in 40+ years!! Awesome catch up! Awesome burger (a little expensive!!) Awesome venue!! If you’re in the area, it’s worth a check out!

How about this one?! Flip Stack & Co burger trailer in Werribee?! Just wow! Perfect smash burger and check out those bacon tongues hanging out the side?! Bloody awesome and super close to home. Will be going back here!! Oh? And the fried chicken and loaded fries? Definitely worth a crack too!! Just grouse!!

We travelled up to the back blocks of Monbulk yesterday and found this groovy little Banh Mi shop in a little place called Tecoma. The name is Banhmi Joint and it paid dividends. So if you’re in the area, I can recommend it for sure!

Alrighty, so the other day we had an appointment in Melbourne and decided to try Smash Masters Burger Co in Yarraville. We were not disappointed at all. Beef bacon was a bit different because they’re Halal, but it was actually pretty damn tasty. And the poutine fries were awesome!! I had the Smash Masters Beef with bacon and the lovely had the Philly Stack!! Both excellent, but the Philly Stack was next level!! If you’re in the area, check em out. Worth a visit.

Alrighty burger fans I’ve discovered there is something positive about leaving Bali!! Yep, true that. The Pulled Pork Bun at Hard Rock Cafe at Ngurah Rai airport is absolutely amazing!! When! If! You leave Bali, bloody give it a try. Awesome.

Ok? So what about this place? Hello Harry the Burger Joint in St Kilda? What a cracking name!! Love it. The name that is. The burger was good. I enjoyed it. No lettuce. No tomato. Winning. But, and it’s not a negative, some places should just stick with one or two things. That’s all I’ll say about that.

But? But! We did go and see Phil Rosenthal. Somebody feed Phil. Everybody loves Raymond. He was awesome!!

So it was my mate Erik’s birthday yesterday and I thought let’s try out somewhere new for lunch!! Rebecchis Hot Dogs was the go!! This place IS popular!! Give em a crack they were good. Must have been, the local constabulary thought so!! Bit messy, but damn fine.

Yesterday we had lunch at this small little place in West Geelong called Cafe Botticelli. Busy little place and bloody good food. Tuna melt sandwich and the New York bagel went down a treat. Try it out. It’s pretty neat.
