Don’t throw out those bread crusts! 👀🍟

Turn them into Crispy Parmesan Crust Fries with this easy bread hack! They’re the perfect little snack to make with what you’ve already got in the kitchen - send this to someone who would love these 😍

Ingredients:
• 5-6 slices of leftover Hi-Fibre Lo GI loaf
• 5 tbsp olive oil, drizzled until well coated
• 1/2 cup grated parmesan, divided
• 1 1/2 tsp dried thyme
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• Fresh thyme leaves, to serve
Method:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180°C
Step 2: Add the bread pieces to a large bowl and drizzle over the olive oil, tossing until every piece is well coated. Add the dried thyme, salt, pepper, ⅓ cup of the grated parmesan, then toss again until evenly combined.
Step 3: Spread the bread onto the prepared tray in a single layer. Bake for 8-12 minutes, depending on your oven, or until golden and crispy.
Step 4: Sprinkle over the remaining 1 tbsp grated parmesan and finish with a few fresh thyme leaves before serving

Key benefits

Employment basis is flexible as either full-time or part-time.
Pay is negotiable but above award rate
Sign-on bonus is included with 50% payable at start and balance paid after 3 months.
4-week rotating roster with three-day weekend once a month
Training on first aid, FSP, bakery management and operations
Very well maintained bakery with fully functional equipment, new tins and new trays

Competencies required

• You must be fully trained across all stations, i.e., bench, bowl and oven, and ready to hit the ground running but transition training will be provided.

Oven
• baking beautiful golden-brown products
• managing product flow through provers
• placing baked products in the right shop location as they are removed from the oven

Bowl
• weigh up ingredients according to provided recipes
• mixing dough according to defined dough schedule
• help on bench with processing dough
• ensure smooth production flow

Bench
• Process dough in a timely and efficient manner and in accordance with defined dough schedule
• Ability to keep pace in a fast-moving production environment

General requirements
• Bakers Delight experience is not mandatory but will be an advantage
• Bakery operations and cleanliness in accordance with WHS standards, FSP and 5-Star Standards
• Actively work with Production Manager on stock management, stock ordering and stocktake
• Self-motivated team player
• Train and guide apprentices
