Incase you didn't know we are back to delivering at capacity (we didn't close over Xmas, but I stepped back a bit to recharge, December burnt me out).
For years you have been telling us we are crazy for delivering for Free and that's because we were still new. As a mobile small business without a physical location finding new customers is hard. But last year I worked hard and now it is time to implement a small delivery fee to reward myself for all the hard work I do, driving around what feels like all over Victoria 🤣 and carrying 20kg bags up some of your driveways which feel like trekking up Everest (Thanks for the free workout).
As of the 1st Feb 2026 a $2 delivery fee will apply to ALL deliveries & Free delivery over $150. Furthermore a fee of $15 will be applied to all orders that require delivery outside of your areas delivery day. Eg Need feed before your next delivery day, a $15 delivery fee will apply regardless of delivery size (free delivery doesn't apply). We are able to offer low delivery fees as we batch deliver, but orders outside of our delivery zones is extra diesel and time from my schedule.
Furthermore, we have implemented new colour coordinated delivery zones. As most of you know I work around my kids schedules and I also own and run a second business, in order to keep delivery fees low and overall prices we batch deliver. By creating colour coordinated zones, we are able to deliver to some of you more often and allows me to also look after myself too and avoid burn out.
Reflecting on last year we have also made the difficult decision to drop certain areas from our delivery zone eg. Fawkner. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough business in some areas to warrant delivering to you this year. Our trial, delivering to Hurstbridge and surrounding areas was welcomed but failed 🚫 so moving forward we will not be delivering to your area. However, I do stock products in Kilsyth for my business so every now and again I will advertise I'll be passing through and can take once off orders.
Finally, we entered our market era last year. Which was received well. We endeavour to attend more markets & roadside trading in ‘26.
