Jamie entered the unled competition at the Kempsey Show on Tuesday, and his smile says it all 😊

He took out Champion Fat Beast of the Show 🏆 with his cracking Speckle steer — a pretty special moment.

In the Hoof & Hook with his heifer, he placed 🥉 3rd on the hoof and 🥈 2nd on the hook — a fantastic result all round!

So proud of the quality of cattle we’re producing 💪🐄 But even more proud of the man behind them 🤍🖤🩶

Its that time of year again and this year’s steer show team is coming along nicely, with these boys destined to finish at Wingham after the local shows.

We’ve mixed it up a little this year to showcase just how versatile this breed is, throwing a couple of crosses into the mix.

Our team includes:
• 1 Speckle × Santa
• 1 F3 Speckle
• 1 Prue-bred Speckle
• 1 Charolais × Speckle

Our first time entering the hoof and hook competition at the Kempsey Show, and we came away with 3rd place for hoof and hook 🥉
This steer was a 12-month-old pure Speckle Park, dressed out at 206.2kg with a 60.2% yield.
