Introducing La Tavola In The Vale 💛🍷

We are incredibly proud to share that our daughter Stefania is hosting another beautiful event as a Catherine House Community Ambassador.

Catherine House is South Australia’s only dedicated women’s homelessness service, providing support, education and empowerment for women experiencing homelessness and helping create pathways toward purposeful futures. Their work is truly invaluable.

Following the incredible support of Amalfi In the Vale in 2024, where together we raised an unbelievable $14,000+, we are honoured to once again come together for a cause so close to our hearts. 🤍

Created and organised by Stefania, La Tavola In The Vale will be an afternoon inspired by community, connection and gathering around the table - all while raising awareness and support for Catherine House.

We have already been absolutely blown away by the support received so far and are so grateful to everyone who has already come on board.

If any businesses would like to contribute to the silent auction, live auction or raffle, we would love to hear from you. Please reach out to Stefania at [email protected] to get involved.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Catherine House.

A little update from us ✨

Vigna Bottin will be closed from June 8th – June 26th while we carry out fire repair works.

We’d love to see you before we close, so if you’ve been planning a visit, now is the perfect time to book in and enjoy a little slice of Italy with us amongst the vines over the next week 🍷🇮🇹

While our Cellar Door and Osteria take a short pause, you can of course still purchase your favourite wines online to enjoy at home at vignabottin.com.au

We also have some exciting events and specials planned for when we return, and we can’t wait to share that with you soon!

Our wine of the week is our Nero d'Avola🍷

As the days grow cooler, our Nero d’Avola featured in our Cantina range is the perfect red to ease into the winter season. Complex, brooding, and dry, with a velvety lining that carries through the palate, this is a wine made to be enjoyed slowly over long lunches and cosy evenings.

With notes of blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and oregano, it’s long, juicy, and beautifully controlled. Balanced with just the right touch of fruit sweetness, spice, tannin grip, and elevated acidity.

We recommend pairing with our Parmigiana di Melanzana, Polpette and Orecchiette Calabrese 🍝
