Snake + Herring The Snake + Herring brand is a wine safari searching for remarkable grapes from West Australian Vine The Search has begun. That is what the logo represents.

The southwest of WA is a viticultural treasure map as there are vineyard jewels scattered throughout. We seek for blocks within vineyards that really shine; they may seem dull when diluted by the bordering lesser dirt. The search is to find and polish these often overlooked gems and present a treasure chest of different jewels: pristine, crystalline Rieslings; crisp, radiant, multi-faceted Chardonnays; alluring, perfumed Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon; dark, exotic, hedonistic Shiraz; brilliant, regal displays of Cabernets and blends.

One of our favourite vineyard sites in the Gunyulgup Valley sits on a north-facing slope, soaking up plenty of sunshine which allows the grapes to ripen at a canter.

Underfoot, there's heaps of granite and gravelly soils: making it very typical of the Margs w**e that we know and love.

The valley itself feeds towards Yallingup, while the word Gunyulgup translates to ‘place of rest’. A pretty fitting name for this beautiful pocket of the South West, and the place where we grow the fruit for our Innerbloom Malbec, awarded 95 points by Halliday.

With our new tasting room and French-inspired bistro opening soon in Yallingup, we're on the hunt for some passionate w**e lovers to join our Snake + Herring family!

We're looking for casual venue staff who know a bit about w**e, have hospitality experience and share our appreciation for telling the amazing stories of our region through the w**es we pour and the food we serve.

We're big believers in sharing knowledge, so our team training is an important part of what we do. Whether you're looking to build on your existing w**e knowledge or take it to the next level, we'd love to help you grow alongside us.
