The Snake + Herring brand is a wine safari searching for remarkable grapes from West Australian Vine The Search has begun. That is what the logo represents.

The southwest of WA is a viticultural treasure map as there are vineyard jewels scattered throughout. We seek for blocks within vineyards that really shine; they may seem dull when diluted by the bordering lesser dirt. The search is to find and polish these often overlooked gems and present a treasure chest of different jewels: pristine, crystalline Rieslings; crisp, radiant, multi-faceted Chardon

nays; alluring, perfumed Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon; dark, exotic, hedonistic Shiraz; brilliant, regal displays of Cabernets and blends.

Our 2023 Black Betty Cabernet Sauvignon earns itself a solid 96+/100 by - what an honour to receive!

For that reason, and simply the fact that yummy red wines deserve to be shared, our Black Betty is truly one to be tasted this winter. So be sure to pop by our cellar door to get it straight from the source.

Cabernet Sauvignon, but fruit driven and refreshing while delivering on some allspice and spicy oak characters. There's a bit of everything in the glass!

Good wine doesn’t need a special occasion.

Snake + Herring is made for the in-between moments. A long lunch that turns into afternoon, dinner with old pals, a bottle opened just because it’s Wednesday, or that first glass while you’re cooking something delicious for dinner.

Keep a few bottles on the shelf and at least one in the fridge. You never know when the moment will call for one.

Tis the season for a delicious juicy red, and reminds us why our 2022 Dirty Boots Cabernet Sauvignon is one to watch.

Medium bodied, this one dances on the palate for ages while lending itself to some earthy characters so its a full mouth experience from the first sip to the last.

Appointed a solid 92, and geez, you can't really argue with that.
