Cabernet Sauvignon has been at the heart of Fermoy since our first vines were planted in 1985, more than four decades ago.
It began with our original Houghton-clone vines, planted right here in Wilyabrup. Today, those mature vines remain the foundation of our Wilyabrup Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
In exceptional vintages, the finest barrels from that original block are selected for the Reserve programme, with production limited to no more than 500 cases.
“We’re in Cabernet country; it’s our raison d’être, the pinnacle of what we do.”
— Jeremy Hodgson, Senior Winemaker
With Cabernet Day approaching and the fire-lighting season soon drawing to a close, there’s still time to enjoy a glass of Cabernet by the fire — a wine shaped by place, time and more than four decades of Cabernet growing.
