Cabernet Sauvignon has been at the heart of Fermoy since our first vines were planted in 1985, more than four decades ago.

It began with our original Houghton-clone vines, planted right here in Wilyabrup. Today, those mature vines remain the foundation of our Wilyabrup Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.

In exceptional vintages, the finest barrels from that original block are selected for the Reserve programme, with production limited to no more than 500 cases.

Our much-loved 2026 Coldfire Fumé Blanc is here, just in time for spring.

It’s our take on the traditional SSB or SB — distinctive, full of guts, textural and complex. A full-bodied white with plenty to say.

There’s skin contact during fermentation to heighten perfume and complexity — jasmine and kaffir — while adding a phenolic crunch of peach kernel and passionfruit seed.

New French oak brings woodsmoke, flint and exotic spice — ginger and cardamom. The acidity is soft yet textured, glossy, rich, but gentle. A conundrum of contrasts that keeps the palate intrigued and wanting more.

Share it with good company, good food and, preferably, on a Saturday over lunch.

This winter has been bright. Frosty mornings, plenty of sunshine and, so far, not much rain. The lack of it seems to be taking up most of the pruning-break chat, fingers crossed the skies open up and we get a few good downpours soon.

The weekend is shaping up to be a beauty. We’re not far from Gracetown, so pop in, grab a bottle of our Reserve Chardonnay, pick up some oysters and, if you’re lucky, nab the only bench at Gracie’s.

Join us at Fermoy Estate this for Rosé All Day — a playful afternoon dedicated to all things pink, seasonal fare, exceptional rosé and a touch of frivolity.

Presented in collaboration with and , the afternoon begins with roaming canapés and Fermoy rosé, alongside other varietals. Guests will then settle in for a relaxed three-course lunch by Supper Road, thoughtfully crafted to showcase the flavours of the season.

As lunch gives way to dancing, kick off your heels and take to the floor as a live DJ sets the soundtrack for the afternoon.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of Fermoy Estate, Rosé All Day promises an afternoon of colour, flavour and pure springtime fun.

The 2021 Wilyabrup Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from our original 1985 estate plantings of Houghton clone Cabernet Sauvignon in Wilyabrup and is produced only in vintages where fruit quality warrants our Reserve label.

Awarded 96 points and Gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards, the 2021 vintage represents the pinnacle of Fermoy’s Cabernet story.

Classic cassis, dark berry fruit and finely layered tannins are carried by the poise and structure that define great Margaret River Cabernet, with the elegance of a cooler vintage and the balance to reward time in the cellar.
