Last week, some of our ACS key staff at Nissan and QSAC took part in Fire Safety Training, refreshing their knowledge of the different types of fire extinguishers and their uses.

The team also got hands-on experience putting their learning into practice by having a go at using the extinguishers!

A great opportunity to build confidence, strengthen our safety knowledge, and ensure we're better prepared to respond in an emergency.

Hospitality is all about looking after others — but who’s looking after you?

The hospitality industry can be exciting, rewarding and full of great moments, but it can also come with unique pressures and challenges. That’s why R U OK? is working with the hospitality sector to help create workplaces where people feel supported, connected and comfortable checking in with each other.

💛 A simple “Are you OK?” can make a difference.

R U OK? has created free resources specifically for the hospitality industry, including the Mateship Manual — a practical guide to supporting a mate who might be doing it tough — as well as an online course to help workmates feel more confident starting meaningful conversations.

So, whether you’re behind the bar, in the kitchen, on the floor or behind the scenes, take a moment to check in with your mates.

Ask. Listen. Connect. 💛

Because looking out for each other is everyone’s job.
