At Lime & Coconut Cafe our coffee is unique - fresh, smooth with a lingering chocolate aftertaste. We try to keep it simple with atmosphere great tasting food made on site & refreshing beverages coupled with good old fashioned service. The old building from the early 1800's has a lot of charm. We enhanced its look with some old school pickings, a lick of paint and a window full of greenery.

MEET THE MAKER MONDAY

Hi, I’m Meredith! There have been a few new followers lately, so I figured it was time to introduce myself.

I’m the chef, pastry chef, barista and professional talker. I can make you a cake or coffee and talk your ear off while doing it.

Here are a few things you might not know about me:

1. I hate board games. Don’t invite me over for game night. I won’t come.
2. My personal assistant, Ivy, is actually the boss. I just work here.
3. My favourite vegetable is potato. Mashed, roasted, fried… give it to me any way!
4. I’m a savoury girl through and through. You won’t catch me reaching for cake unless it’s Opera cake or tiramisu. Then all bets are off!

6 MONTHS TODAY!

How on earth has it been 6 months already? Six months ago, we opened the doors to Sweet at Lime & Coconut and what a ride it has been!

From early mornings and plenty of coffee to baking, creating, learning as we go and getting to know so many lovely faces. These past six months have been full of hard work, a few challenges, lots of laughs and so many special moments.

We’re still learning, still growing and always coming up with new ideas (sometimes more ideas than hours in the day 😂).

A huge thank you to everyone who has popped in for a coffee, grabbed a cake, supported our little business, shared a post or simply stopped for a chat. Every bit of support means more than you know.

Six months down and there’s still so much more to come!

A little reminder of our trading hours at Sweet at Lime & Coconut!

Monday to Friday: 5:30am – 12pm
Saturday: 7am – 12pm
Sunday: Closed

Although our doors close at midday, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes! Our afternoons are spent baking, creating and getting everything ready for the next day’s coffee and cake fix.

So if you pop past after 12pm and we’re closed, chances are we’re busy in the kitchen, running around and getting everything done! There’s plenty of work happening long after the last coffee has been poured.

Thank you for supporting our little local business. We look forward to seeing you bright and early!

All day eats // Simple, comforting food made fresh daily, using fresh local ingredients wherever we can. From Grandma’s scones and homemade banana bread to our Benny wrap and turkey bagel, there’s something delicious waiting for you.

But don’t get too comfortable… this menu is only here for a limited time! We’re already working behind the scenes on our next menu, so there’s more goodness to come.

In the meantime, come in, grab a seat, and enjoy something fresh while it lasts. We can’t wait to see you!

WE’RE TAKING A BREAK!

Long weekend, here we come! We’re taking a little time to rest, reset and enjoy a couple of days off. We’ll be CLOSED Sunday & Monday and back bright and early Tuesday morning.
