What an incredible weekend at The Bend for young South Aussies Blake Purdie and Jobe Stewart Racing!

After weeks of setbacks with gearbox issues, the team worked until midnight Thursday night to get the Nippy’s Audi ready for Friday practice.

The hard work paid off, with Blake and Jobe topping both practice sessions before taking the Saturday race win on debut together. They went on to show outstanding pace again on Sunday, including a Monochrome GT4 Australia lap record from Jobe.

A massive credit to BRM Performance Adelaide, MPC and everyone behind the scenes who worked tirelessly to get the car on track.

We’re excited to be partnering with the Port Adelaide Football Club to support their community events and programs. The Nippy’s Recovery Zone will also be there, providing protein milk for players to across the season.

🥳 What a fantastic night celebrating our special 25th Anniversary event 🏆 The athletes put on another amazing spectacle 👊🏼 the Little Athletics melted our hearts 🫶🏼 and local sporting relays were fiercely fought with Barmera winning both 👊🏼

🌟 But the real winner is Loxton, with Kym Steer South Australian Athletic League (centre) reaffirming their commitment to a long-term partnership that will see the Gift Carnival remain here well into the future. 🚩

🙏 None of it would be possible without the incredible generosity of Nippy's. 🍊 It was lovely to have the family there to celebrate with us again, including son Ben Knispel (right). 🥂

🏃🏽‍♂️ Local organising committee led by President Tom Fielke (left) will continue to work hard to keep the event one of the best on the SA Athletic’s calendar 🏃🏽‍♀️ thanks to the support of local businesses, and the community who come along to be part of this unique, special event 🧡
