UPDATE: THE POSITION HAS BEEN FILLED. Rookery Creek Eggs are looking for weekday staff. We are a free range, pasture raised egg business located between Exeter and Beaconsfield. Jobs include collecting and packing eggs, cleaning nest boxes, and watering and feeding chickens. No prior experience is necessary, but you do need a good level of physical fitness, the ability to work at speed, the ability to work unsupervised, willingness to work regular overtime, an understanding of the cycles of farm life and a tolerance of the chaos that comes with working with livestock. 12 years ago this week, we were eggcited to find the very first egg laid by one of our backyard chooks. Today we collected over 1000 eggs from one shed- a new record- and it turns out, we're pretty eggcited about that too. 💛🥚🥚🥚
