This Saturday will be our last market attendance for the season: Wangaratta Farmers' Market and whence we aim to sell off all remaining cheese.

The goats have not been milked since Friday, the farm gate is closed (we won't turn you away if you're after buying a bit of cheese), and the fire in the fire-place is lit at night. Oh... and we're totally exhausted. This can mean only one thing: Winter is here.

We'll send a "thanks for a good season" message later. In the meantime, see you at the market(s) if you make it.

Seeking a Farm Sitter - ideally with livestock experience

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual, couple, or family to care for our farm and animals from mid June to to mid August while we take a break to recharge. Accommodation is provided.

You will need to drive the little old tractor to bring hay into the paddocks. Goats will also need to be fed grain, but won’t need milking.

Joseph, our 9-year-old son, is starting his own business. It's called "Little Sharpie" :)

After practicing sharpening our kitchen knives for the last year, he has become pretty good at it. Below is his advertisement with his special introductory price of $2 per knife.

For now it's just knives. He'll add scissors etc to his repertoire with time. But if you're visiting Little Cedar farm or driving past, and you need your knives sharpened, bring them in. He'll do them while you wait.

Also, this Saturday we're in Mansfield with VERY little cheese. Be early if you're keen to buy some.
