Amaroo Homestead Amaroo Homestead is a small farm just outside Fernvale in the somerset region. We are currently developing the property with Permaculture principles.

The property is owned by Tim and Christine Oliver and it is their full time residence. The property is 6.75 acres, averages 850mm of rainfall annually. The climate is subtropical, rarely observing frost due to microclimate. The property consists of 2 dams, one spring fed, swales, a newly planted food forest among a run down old orchard. Near the house we have established kitchen garden and small main crop area as well as many citrus trees and pigeon pea.
