Stonehurst Cedar Creek in Wollombi, gateway to Australia's Hunter Valley, is a boutique vineyard offering organic wines, country cottage accommodation and the perfect backdrop for private weddings and events. Wander through the vineyards, take a bushwalk high into the mountain or along our tree-lined brook to the sandstone cellar door to enjoy a wine tasting. Stonehurst are proud hosts of 'Sculpture in the Vineyards' - an exhibition of large-sale outdoor works, held annually in spring.

The first week of winter has arrived - where the sun feels precious, fires are lit a little earlier, and rubbing your hands together for warmth becomes second nature.

The 2014 Reserve Chambourcin - unique, organic, exceptional!
This wine displays beautifully developed fruit flavours of plum, raspberry and cherry, layered with the complexity that comes from time in bottle. Sixteen months of barrel maturation has added a subtle savoury oak influence, soft tannins and a balanced finish.

All of this to say... it’s a distinctive wine that is well worth trying on your next visit to Stonehurst! 🍷
