The Frizell family would like to thank all the buyers and underbidders at our sale. We were very happy to achieve a total clearance on both the Charolais and Angus with 48/48 Charolais selling to a top of $30000 and averaging $12000. 15/15 Angus bulls sold to a top of $9500 and averaged $7300.

A big thank you to everybody who helped us in the lead up to the sale and on the day.

After running all the bulls over the scales today for tomorrow's sale, the 16 month old Wakefield Avenger W556 weighed in at a huge 642kg! For his age, the growth figures here are amazing. He is the youngest bull in our Angus draft, but holds his own amongst the older bulls in terms of size.

This lovely heifer is lot 8A in tonight’s Pick of the Pair in the Charolais National Sale. The sale runs during the dinner from 7:30pm tonight (Friday August 7th) and if you can’t make it, you can view or place bids via AuctionsPlus.

Wakefield Autumn 62 is a homozygous polled, halter-broken and unjoined heifer with showring in her blood. Her Grand Dam Wakefield Autumn 15 was under 12 months heifer champion at the Charolais National show in 2016.

Wakefield Whizz Bang was judged Reserve Junior Charolais bull at the Sydney Royal recently. To achieve this at just 10 1/2 months of age made us very proud and excited to see how he develops!
