Carrots are Fantastic for your bones, teeth, reproduction and Donβt forget Vision. I have Clients who have improved Eyesight (stopped using prescription glasses) from fasting on carrot juice, water fasting and doing eye exercises the whole time, then adding carotenes into their diet.
Researchers at the Jules Stein Institute UCLA concludes that Carrots reduce the chances of Glaucoma and Cataracts in the eyes.
Studies show it prevents Macular Degeneration and 1 medium size Carrot per day can improve blood circulation to the eyeβs by upto 26%.
Carrots- Beta Carotene in Carrots is converted to Vitamin A and is used for strengthening the immune system, keeping the skin glowing, lungs working properly, intestinal track moving nicely, and promoting healthy cell growth.
Studies have found that high doses of beta carotene may lower the risk of heart disease by as much as 45% just afew carrots a day or some carrots in a juice will do the trick!!
The same studies also show that high levels of beta carotene taken in pill form, donβt work.
Shred them and put it in your Salad, snack on them (Eating them with almond butter is my Favorite) and have them in your juice (their also SUPER ALKALISING) So they are Great for reducing the risk of every kind of Cancer as well!!
