Thank you for being apart of my journey for a HUGE 7 years. When I started this on Dec 1st 2013, I truly had no idea what I was doing or expecting. I never thought people would buy my cakes let alone now beg me for my recipes. I’m very grateful for you all truly. ⁣

Sweets by Sonya has well and truly done it’s job for me in my life. It was there when I needed it and it helped me through some hard times. Now it’s time to say goodbye and put my teachers hat back on and get back into another passion of mine. Teaching the children of our future ✨ ⁣

Honestly, I have no words.
I still can’t believe this was my last Christmas doing cakes for you guys.

Please let me know how your last Sweets by Sonya dessert was?! 👇🏼

I had so many hint that they’d looove it if I randomly decided to have a cake day or two next year.... 😂 however, I’m sorry to disappoint but at this stage it definitely won’t be happening.

To those of you who supported me back when I first started this adventure in 2013 for Christmas....... I’m sorry 🤣🙈😱 WOW, how on earth did I think that was a presentable cake....

Hahahaha WOW.
And this my friends is also why my price eventually went up in most of my cakes... I actually got good..... 😅

No but seriously.... THANK YOU for your continued support. It became a little real to me today during pick ups that I’m only 2 days away from ending Sweets By Sonya, such a bittersweet feeling 🥰

This is my LAST year doing cakes so please, if you’ve wanted to try one of my cakes, Christmas Day will be your last chance. It’s very unlikely that I’ll have random baking days next year.
