From the farm to the firewall 🍒🌱🐑💻

Nelson has been part of our team as a casual for as long as we can remember and has now graduated with a Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Cyber Security and Systems Administration.

Nelson now joins our cherry harvest alumni 🏆 alongside all our other amazing graduates who spent their university holidays helping with our cherry harvest. They have gone on to become vets, architects, schoolteachers, IT whizzes, academics in physics, engineers, nurses, radiographers, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, elite sport managers, forensic scientists, film producers, solicitors and agricultural superstars.

Congratulations, Nelson, from all of us at Hall Family Orchards! 🎓

We are excited to share that Hall Family Orchards is now officially certified Organic In-Conversion under the National Standard for Organic and Bio-Dynamic Produce (SXC Cert No: 26082). 🍒🌱

What does in-conversion mean? It is the step before full organic certification. For the next 12 months, we are farming to the organic standard and being audited along the way.

We have been chemical-free since 2018, so this step was common sense. Our focus remains 100% on our soil health and using our innovative regenerative horticultural techniques to grow our premium cherries. Our signature flavour will remain the same, however our customers have confidence and knowledge that we are practicing what we preach 🍒
