💚 Tuesday FIL Day – Free Food Support | 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm 💚

Food is Life is back today, providing free fresh food and pantry support to help local families through the week ahead.

This week we have available:

🥚 Fresh eggs thanks to the ongoing generosity of Just Been Laid

🥬 Farm fresh vegetables from Nebo Farm, who continue to provide reliable and generous donations to the project

🥫 Pantry staples from Foodbank NSW & ACT

🍎 A special thank you to Woolworths Beresfield for stepping in this week with a generous donation of fresh fruit. While our usual produce collection was a little lighter than normal, their support has helped ensure we still have plenty of fresh food available for local families.

🍞 Fresh bread is expected from Foodbank, however availability will depend on today's delivery arriving before we open.

A huge thank you to Maitland City Council, Jemena, Petani Community Service Inc: Tongan Community NSW, SecondBite and Foodbank NSW & ACT for helping us provide fresh food to local families each week.

We kindly ask everyone to take only what they need and be mindful of others so we can continue supporting as many households as possible.

💚 Food is Life – Tuesday Free Food Support 💚

Another Tuesday means another opportunity for local families to access fresh food and pantry essentials at the Woodberry Family Centre.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Nebo Farm, we are able to offer an amazing selection of fresh seasonal vegetables🌱

This week’s fresh produce includes:
🥬 Spinach
🥦 Cauliflower
🥬 Cabbage
🧅 Leek
🥬 Celery
🫜 Beetroot

Following the public holiday, some other supplies are a little lighter than usual, with no bread available and unfortunately no SecondBite food collection this week. However, we are very grateful to still be able to provide families with plenty
