The boxes are unpacked and we are about to open our doors!

Today’s fresh food selection includes:
🥖 Fresh bread including sour sourdough bread
🥚 Fresh eggs, thanks to Just Been Laid
🥦 Fresh vegetables, including spinach, brocolli and cabbage, from Nebo Farm
🍊 Fruit from SecondBite
🥫 Pantry staples and other grocery items from our generous food partners including Petani Community Service Inc: Pacific Islander Communities NSW, Foodbank NSW & ACT

🥚🍊🫜Tuesday Food is Life Day | Free Food Support | 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm 🥔 🥬🥦

The photos might look a little light on the shelves this morning… but do not worry! 😄
The Foodbank truck has just arrived, and our wonderful volunteers are busy unloading, sorting and unpacking everything so we can have it all ready for 12:30 pm. 🚚📦💪

There will be plenty of fresh food and pantry staples available for local families, including:

🥖 Fresh bread
🥚 Fresh eggs thanks to Just Been Laid
🥦 Fresh vegetables including cauliflower, spinach, Brussels sprouts and cabbage from Nebo Farm
🍊 A variety of fruit and vegetables, including mandarins and oranges
🥫 Pantry staples and other grocery items from our generous food partners

💚 Tuesday Food is Life Day | Free Food Support | 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm 💚

Food is Life is back again today! Our volunteers have been busy sorting and preparing another great selection of fresh food and pantry staples for local families.

If you could use a little extra help with your grocery budget this week, come along to the Woodberry Family Centre this afternoon. The Vinnies Van from Vinnies Hunter is onsite again as well with coffee, tea, sandwiches and referral pathways to their programs and services.
