Feeling super rich,
with little treasures growing near
baby apples 🍎🍏,
and yummy chokos,
Cabbage growing strong,
soon to become delicious sauerkraut,
while ginger waits patiently for a chai and a curry
And curry leaves for jeera rice
Avos and pumpkin,
such generous gifts from the earth,
and catnip for a catnap 💤—
because we all deserve a little rest.
And then there’s the silver spurflower,
beautiful and mysterious,
a plant I’d love to know more about,
especially since it seemed to help
me finally shake my chronic cough (albeit accidentally)
Becuz I assumed it was mullein 🙈
So maybe I’m not rich
but with this little garden growing,
I feel incredibly wealthy
in the very best kind of way. 🌿💚
