Vintage is done.

Cool climate, slow ripening & no shortcuts.

Rafa applies the same philosophy to relaxmaxxing—and the results are equally impressive.

Shiraz is last off the vine this year from both Woodside and our new Charleston vineyard. Exceptional concentration, beautiful fruit integrity. The long growing season did exactly what it needed to.

Worth the wait, as always.

Today’s Vintage Vibe looks a bit like a medieval torture device. It’s not. 🤣

This is the inside of our destemmer. Those rolling fingers gently knock berries off the bunch, leaving the stems (rachis) behind.

The fruit moves on to the next stage and everything else goes straight back to the vineyard as compost.
